Source Audio Soundblox Tri-Mod Wah

The Soundblox Tri-Mod Wah is a new type of "Auto Wah" or "Envelope Filter" effect. The unit features multiple filter types ranging from classic to modern and beyond. Each filter type can be controlled by an envelope follower or an LFO adjusted with a single knob. An envelope follower is an algorithm that responds to the amplitude (or volume) of the incoming signal and creates a control signal based on the input level. This control signal is used to "move" or modulate the filter to create a wah like effect automatically without the need for a "rocker" type footpedal.

The filters can also be driven with an LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator). LFOs are most commonly used in effectls like flangers, phasers, and choruses. The Tri-Mod Wah allows you to use a variable LFO to drive the filters for a different take on the filter sounds. Finally the filter effects can also be controlled by an optional Hot Hand Montion Sensor allowing control via motion of your hand, arm etc.. Either a wired or wireless sensor can be plugged into the sensor input on the back panel.

The Tri-Mod name derives from the fact that there are three distinct modulation sources to control the filter effects: Envelope, LFO, or Hot Hand.

All Tri-Mod products feature a Modern, thoughtfully designed, rugged box. The effect uses Source Audio's proprietary 56-bit DSP and crystal clear 24-bit analog to digital converters Bypass is routed around the DSP and the active input ensures zero signal degradation.
