Vic Rawlings teaches guitar, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele at Cambridge Music. He enjoys working with students at all levels and has been teaching professionally since 1989. He has played in bands ranging from classic country and blues through to rock, punk, metal, pop, and free improvisation. He has recorded both as a credited composer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, bass) for television, radio, film, and theater. His teaching style is rooted in the immediate physical aspect of playing. He focuses theory directly to the specific music the student is interested in playing. He encourages improvisation and the development of a personal style based in solid technique. Beginners are encouraged at any age.
