Shipping

In stock items generally will ship within 2 business days from receipt of order. Out of stock items will ship as soon as we receive the item(s) from the manufacturer. This is usually from 5 to 10 business days. Some items may be backordered and will take longer. We will let you know ASAP if an item is backordered.

Sometimes an item that shows in stock on our site may have sold in our store before we have had a chance to update the site. We will make every effort to try to prevent this from happening but it will sometimes be unavoidable.

General Merchandise Return Policy

All returns must be arranged in advance with Cambridge Music and given a return authorization number. Please call us at 1-888-PLAY-GTR (752-9487) or 617-491-5433 to obtain one. Shipping charges and credit card fees are nonrefundable. Customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs.

You can return your purchase from Cambridge Music in its original condition for an exchange or refund up to 3 Days from receipt of merchandise with no questions asked and no penalty. Exceptions to this are listed below.

If you decide not to keep the merchandise, you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. When we receive the item in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase.

Special Orders are noncancelable and nonreturnable. These are items that we would not normally stock and we are buying them in advance for you.

Cancelled layaways are subject to a $25.00 restocking fee.

Instrument and Amplifier Return Policy

Instruments and Amplifiers are granted a 48 hour approval period. (For our warranty policy, click here)

If you decide to return the item, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will give you a Return Authorization number and you may ship it back to us in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork.

You must ship the item back to us within 2 business days after receiving the Return Authorization number.

When we receive the item in its original condition, we will refund the entire amount of the purchase.

DVDs, CDs, Videos Return Policy

Unused, CDs, DVDs, and videos may be returned for credit, substitution, or full refund. They must be sealed in their original shrink wrap, packed properly and sent back to us within five days of your having received them.

Opened DVDs, CDs, and videos are non-returnable.

Defective DVDs, CDs, and videos may be exchanged for the same item only. When returning a defective CD, DVD, or video please indicate where the defect occurs. (for example: DVD skips at 35:15)

We're sorry but we can not take back a DVD, CD or video because you did not like it.

Harmonica and Pitchpipe Return Policy

All harmonicas and pitchpipes are nonreturnable due to the personal use nature of the product, and resultant health and safety issues. Please make your selection carefully.

Defective harmonicas and pitchpipes are warrantied through their respective manufacturers. Please contact them directly for warranty service.
